painting inside a hemisphere
I want to draw on the inner part of a hemisphere. If I paint on the outside it shows on the inside too but why can't I paint looking at the inside?

Because you only can paint on positive normals. You have to flip the normals of the geometry. In edit mode you can do this: A (select all) > Alt N (normals menu) > Flip
