Give windows explorer thunbails for big icon
Right now blender have
display mode
for blender files when open .blend
But this is not working for windows explorer, also request is to implement this for windows (not sure how with linux). On right is sketchup preview of ile.

what is not working for explorer?
For me not working. But.. I not have installed any new blender version, just extracted.zip. This is reason maybe for not working in Win? As not registered function for explorer and windows? Not have views like You. Then.. maybe some option to register new blender in winreg
run (once) blender with "-r" argument, or use installer
Maybe not as Icon but in the Preview Window?
