[request] - graph improvements (outputting csv files from f-curves / data of objects)
hi, this is my first post in there,
So the other day I was wondering what fonctionalities were still not in blender and which could be really usefull, so I looked at other 3D softwares and thought: we need to be able to make something out of the data calculated by our physics simulations.
I'm not asking for a full ingeneering workflow like in these autodesk software, but just having a button to export a record of a data (or a set of data) of an object (or more) to a csv file could open a potential path towards an even more diverse use of blender 3D.
So, in practice, I would see this feature implemented as in the following drawings:
another function in the rightclick context menu of value box
a new button to export the data of a curve in the graph editor
but, to make this feature really relevant, we must also be able to display non-modifiable data, for instance:
- the x-y-z acceleration of an object
- the torque of a rotating object
- the x-y-z force that is applied to an object
- displaced origin location for rigid bodies
