Grease Pencil Proposal: Cache Pencil Settings for each layer
This is simple idea of improving Grease Pencil workflow a bit.
Most of the time when I change layers I need also to change pencil/material and radius of my tool. My idea is to cache last used drawing utils properties (radious/strength/material/presser icons and so on) for each layer. Whenever layer is changed, all drawing utils are also changed to those used last time on this layer.
Hope to see if others see it in the same way.

At first it sounds like a good idea, been in that situation many times. But then I can also think of cases where you make changes to your tool then want to go to another layer with those settings and that having your tool automatically change to what you last use on that layer could be annoying.
One way around could be to be able to save quick presets that would keep all those settings in a easily accessible list.
But even better would be doing it the way Mypaint does it: hit a key (w) then click anywhere on the drawing and it automatically picks the layer and tool settings that where used for that stroke. That is super practical.
Are there any opinions on that?
