Better Themes for Blender

Perfect Themes for Blender

Today in Blender it is not possible to make a theme perfect. Some settings are missing and some settings seem unused.

Exposing the missing settings in the Theme Editor would be a quick-fix. I'm sure that for a future major release a more structural solution to theming will be needed. But for now, this could really help make the current 2.8x look better for everyone.

You need to be a lot more specific about what you're suggesting here. This site is for making a proposal. If you want to have a conversation, you should post this in a forum.

Thanks * @Jason van Gumster *. I've started a topic on devtalk.

testure

you mentioned missing settings and didn't list a single one.

* @testure * I also mentioned starting a single thread for them. Currently reports are made in different places (devtalk/ba/etc.) but it seems no action is taken.

* @Paul Coops * so then your proposal is to make a proposal?

Thanks for your feedback * @testure *. I'm looking for the right way and place to help improve themes in Blender. Unfortunately, this seems neither the right way nor place. If you have any ideas on how to get better theme support in Blender, please let me know.

How is a theme "better"?

* @ Lsscpp * When all the colors in the UI make sense to the theme, it will feel better.
