Linked (UV island) and Loop Selection

Guys, I don't know if you feel the same, but I can't continue selecting islands in Edit Mode with the "L" key. I suggest that like the Left Click Select, Double Click (on a face) be made an option we can choose in Settings for Linked Select. Also, Loop Select could have edge double click as an option. These are the only things I really liked when using Modo, and I realized that it is much faster and more intuitive. What do you think?
