Instance/duplicate along curve (in the array modifier)
The array modifier is super useful; but it's difficult to create instances which follow a curve (as it deforms along the curve). This was previously possible through some workarounds which abused animation for it, but the cleanest way to implement this would be to add a follow curve option to the array modifier.
Unfortunately this can't be easily done using the Python API, and modifiers that instance is mentioned as an anti-feature here: wiki.blender.org/wiki/Reference/AntiFeatures -- but this is still super-useful functionality on its own (just search for "Blender duplicate along curve".)
In practice this would require a new option besides "Fit curve", like "Follow curve", which would not modify the individual instances of the object like the current Array "Fit curve" option does.
