Show last hidden objects

It would be great to have the option to show the last hidden objects in your scene. If you have a lot of objects, with some already hidden, and you "hide unselected" on a new object, you want to get back to the previous state. Right now you only have the option to show all hidden objects, so you have to hide specific objects all over again.

I think this feature applies more to just collections. Example vertices/faces in edit mode. It would be really nice to have there as well.

You don't have to unhide all; you can click the eye icon in the outliner.

Multiref is supposed to be solved in a different way - via splitting content by collections and realtime combinatorics visibility control via numeric keys

There's an add-on that does exactly this called "Hide Steps" by Amandeep. Its free on Gumroad and $2 on Blender Market. I'd post a link, but its not allowed.

I do think this should be a native feature though.
