Better retopology method

Why dont blender has a good automatic retopology tool. All the big player in the market have that. Zbrush has dynamesh, Maya has Polybuid, Marvelous designer.Even recently 3ds max launched the new retopo modifier. It is the basic need. Also it is not that difficult because half of the work is already done by instant meshes, remaining can be fulfilled by blender dev, also we can take inspiration from quad remesher's algorithm.

also the edit poly modifier makes the workflow non-destructive which is great because even blender has fast modelling workflow but if we need to change something, blender dont have any modifier based editing that we can go to previous working state.

While I agree that Blender lacks a fast and robust solution for auto quad retopology (built-in methods are either not fast, or not robust, on a case by case basis), I'd recommend to refrain from statements like "it's not that difficult".

If it's not that difficult, why don't you do it and submit a patch? If you can't, then how can you possibly judge how difficult it is?

There's enough half-baked half-working solutions already. If something is to be put into Blender, it has to work, work good, and not on default cubes, but on all sorts of complex and messy objects.

Hint: if it weren't difficult, it would've been done already. "Even recently 3DS Max..." - it's almost 2021. 3DS Max is nearly a quarter of a century old. Where, do you think, this "not that difficult" solution has been all this time?

* @Stanislav Blinov * Maya has this tool from very old time, Zbrush also has for quite a long time and half ready solution by instant meshes is a good start to work in that direction. If i know that much of coding, i will do it.

* @mrajendra2150 * If you knew that much of coding you wouldn't be thinking that it's 'easy'.
