add warning when using too many material drivers

As i just learned whilst attempting to use material attributes, there is apparently a hard limit of 8 attributes per material in EEVEE,

but that is not made clear within blender at all. And i resorted to make a bug report cause i thought it was a bug.

If getting over any limit like this, it would be nice to display a warning of some kind anywhere

Haha I also reported this as a bug a few years ago - the result of that is they at least added a mention of it in the manual 😀 It does behave really weirdly once you pass the limit as well, or it used to at least - channels over the limit would randomly stop working, but it wasn't consistent which ones. IIRC the limit is actually 32 if you pack your data into 8 RGBA attributes. Are there situations where this would be difficult to detect? for example, what happens if you have attributes in the node tree that aren't connected, or nested attributes, or references to non-existent attributes (which may not contribute toward the limit?). Would be great to have some kind of warning - maybe an error message on the attribute node?

Might help to add some implementation suggestions to the proposal?
