Alt D for linked grease pencil key frames

Hello! As a mostly 2d animator I've really been enjoying playing with Grease Pencil. However, I often re-use frames or drawings in other software as a time saver.

I would love to be able to alt-d in the timeline or dopesheet to create a linked frame. Then if any instance of that frame was modified all of the others would update automatically. You could right click and break the link if you wanted to just use the frame as a starting point and adjust it. Right now we can shift-d to duplicate a frame, but it is not linked.

If this is already possible then great, I just haven't found it yet.
