Create new sub-collection when moving to collection without existing sub-collections
When using move to collection (M) you can add a new sub-collection to a collection that already has sub-collections like this:
But you can't if the collection does not have a sub-collection already:
It would be great to be able to add a sub-collection even if there aren't already sub-collections like this:

I had to read your post three times before I understood what you were talking about. A picture is worth a thousand words- I would recommend a before/after mockup if you want your proposal to gain traction
I thought so too but then I couldn't figure out how to easily add an image. But now that the new website rolled out I can add images.
Gaah I've been thinking about doing a request for exactly this, and now I get a bit frustrated that there already is one that over a year old and with only 14 upvotes. Such a simple thing that would make that M-menu so much better.
Yes, have needed to use this in typical production.
