Standardize Keymaps

In other keymap setting than default Blender, for example ; Industry Compatible or custom ones,

without deleting any of them, many keymaps are missing and the user have to manually add each of them individually using their respective command.

Would be nice if all commands were identical and present between keymap presets. It's currently really difficult to use anything other than default Blender.

every addon adds new commands. and infinite number of them. blender should definitely never enforce just the same command set.

I suggest you open your key binding python up in a text editor and use something like beyond compare or search and replace to tweak as you like .

Indeed addons adds new commands, but i'm talking about default Blender commands, many are just not there when switching to another keymap preset. I appreciate your suggestion, i know python, but i don't think having the user open a python script is user friendly. That's exactly why we need to standardize keymaps.

That's a non-issue, Blender could easily just list the keys with addons. Or the API should be changed so that Addons keymaps automatically register a UI in the keymap editor.

But the core idea here is that the keymap editor should show a list of all keyable commands in the first place. It's complicated to customize your keymap when a key doesn't already exist.
