N-Panel Structure
Hi all.
I LOVE blender so thanks to all the developers & all the Blender team for such an awesome program.
My only gripe (so far:) is the N-Panel, it can get so overfilled & frustrating when we have a lot of addons, & yes I'm guilty of lovin many addons I use & I have them startup with my startup template blender project, I was REALLY surprised to find out that I can't even arrange/organize/group the N-Panel tabs & had to resort to yet another 3rd party addon called Simple Tabs which is free & awesome in doing this.
So will Blender in the near future ever rework how the N-Panel is displayed & giving us such options + possibly more options of arranging/organizing them? Maybe even some colors for the N-Panel tabs? Or if not then the Simple Tabs addon should definitely be bundled with future Blender releases until Blender does update the N-Panel.
I'm aware that I can have only specific addons enabled per project through Workspace/Filter Add-Ons but it's very limited & doesn't offer the options that Simple Tabs does. What can I say, I have MANY addons that I love using & would prefer to just have them there ready to go rather than relying on the Filter AddOns section & like I said it just feels like an outdated way of doing these things with no arranging/organizing/color options or grouping etc.
Also if I thought it was only me wanting the N-Panel structure to be updated I would just shutup & ofcourse I wouldn't ask for such things as that's stupidly selfish but I know many Blender users who also would love this & have been relying on the Simple Tabs addon including some known YouTubers/teachers even Josh Gambrell which is where I found out about Simple Tabs addon in the first place.
Appreciate your time reading this, & again thank you to the whole Blender Team for amazing work.

There should be 1 tab named Addons and in there every addon can be stacked sensibly with a clearly visible name:
If an addon makes sense to go in existing tab, put it in there, don't make your own tab:
If you really want to be a special snowflake and refuse to share tab with other addons, then they should allow addons to put an icon in the tab instead of a name.
I see your point and I am having the same problem with little vertical screen space and a lot of addons enabled.
How about first making the items including their labels to render horizontally instead of vertically?
See drive.google.com/file/d/1Ml-SrzEm1NTzqbSTkFuSdWB9DibqrK00/view
This should eliminate a lot of vertical space issues right away, similar to the tool panel, which renders icons and associated labels in a horizontal fashion.

PS: and how can I embed an image into this post?
the best thing right now would be to fork "simple tabs" so that it refreshes automatically and repeats the functionality for npanels in other editors than the 3dview too.
the problem is partly blender foundation because they still have no idea for an npanel replacement .
but its also the addon devs fault if they make an npanel for everything even if a simple menu item or pie item would suffice. but its becoming better , many devs now put their addons in better places than the npanel
Another good idea to go along with this is making the N panel face HORIZONTAL instead of Vertical. How the heck are you expected to read anything if you have to rotate your head by 90 degrees on the X axis to have a clear view of the names??
which names ? i can only see little squares , they alhave the same grey color lolol
