Animation timeline update (middle mouse + ? button scrubbing)
(Maya comparison) middle mouse click on timeline to move overtimeline without updating the animation in viewport, I know currently middle mouse is to pan on the timeline, however I wanted to know if you can drag along the timeline and not have updates, to be able to insert inbetween keys as this is a very fast way to adjust overshoot, aniticipation and secondary action within maya on the fly just by eyeballing it and no need to mess with the graph editor, allowing you to focus more on whats in front of you playing in motion, I love this feature (maybe its there and im unaware of it) but possible a shift + MMB option or something of this nature. youtube.com/watch around 2:30 demonstrates it in a very basic way

Pretty useful and handy feature for animators. Would love to have it in blender.
This is an extremely useful feature in Maya! Would love to see this in Blender.
Very helpful for animating. Coming from Maya I'm amazed how these fundamental things haven't appeared in Blender yet after all these years.
This is great fast way in maya to copying poses or parts of a pose to a different pose/time, etc.
