Key at frame other than where you're at
Have you ever moved an object, went to keyframe it, and then realized that you forgot to first go to the correct frame on the timeline?
If there was a way to insert a keyframe at a frame other than the one you're currently on, it could save the day. I.e.: Press i and select [at frame ___] then type in the frame number where you want the key placed.

Not realizing what frame you're on is only an example. In programs that do have that feature, some people use it for speed-keyframing. E.g. Start pose, keyframe #; end pose, keyframe #; intermediate pose, keyframe #. Especially useful if there are even more keys to be rapidly placed and you already know the frame spacing.Translation, key#, translation, key#, ...
As the other comments have said, wouldn't you realize you're on the wrong frame in the first place? Even if you do end up somehow putting keyframes in the wrong places, you can already move them in all the animation editors.
That doesn't happen very often, no. And if it DOES, then what I've possibly done on the wrong key might not be what I'd want to do on the CORRECT key anyway.
But that would mean to realize that you aren't on the right frame regardless? It sounds redundant.
