Interactive Symmetrize

It would be nice to have a graphical widget for the Symmetrize command in Edit mode, similar to the new graphical user interface widgets that tools like Spin, Extrude Region or Shear have. Either that or something similar to the Mirror command with its ability to interactively change the axis in while in the Modal command.
