Overlap Seam/Sharp
Right now Seam markings hides Shaps, so you need to turn off Seams in Overlays to see sharps. It's hard to track when you need seams and sharps in the same places. So why not to make them overlap ? I did a little prototype in Cursor and it already feels good

Excellent idea! I believe this Visibility feature might be able to be expanded to other Edge types as well; I'm thinking about Edge Creases.
To start with, if the limit of intertweened Edge types is 2 (as shown), maybe, the system would identify which 2 Edge types (whichever Edge types are Enabled for Visibility), and do exactly that to them, maybe with a priority ordering, that might be default... perhaps, Customizable?
Another thing would be, perhaps from this proposal, more than the limit of 2 intertweened Edge types could occur (maybe even all Edge types?). That might become rather confusing... but there's a chance it could be Visibility-useful, for complicated projects regarding a huge variety of Edge types.
yes, i thought about that at first too, but edge creases is something you use for high poly modeling, so you don't do UV in that stage, same with bevel weight, and crease + bevel never used on same edge.. for my experience it is only sharp + uv seam have conflict.
I uploaded that addon on my Gdrive: drive.google.com/file/d/1UX2v-M2xfOflbt3IJ4Ca2bxlIq7CCcaC/view
It has some options on N panel and in addon preferences. It also has mirror for sharps and UV Seams on Q panel in edit mode, helps in my work.
I see!
Though personally, I'm familiar with even certain Low-Poly to Medium-Low-Poly Modelling approach, which can also benefit a lot from Edge Creases. So, I usually want to spot Seams & Edge Creases altogether (2 Edge Data); sometimes, with the Edge Sharps too (3 Edge Data), or any 2 combination of them, and so on --often, it can be challenging predicting all plausible projects or Workflows.
Here just description of what I often do on Low-Poly: Some Low-Poly Models can benefit of the Subdivision Surface Modifier too, alongside with Edge Creases, because it can help to better control the Geometric shapes of a Character Design for example. Sometimes, I apply the same Edge Crease (e.g., 0.300) to all the Edges of the Model (it often makes a much more interesting result than plain Subdivision Surfacce Modifier, where Edge Creases are at 0.000); sometimes, the previous tactic, but on top of that, certain strategic Edges (e.g., the Jaw Line) get higher Edge Crease value (e.g., 0.600) --besides the employment of Vertex Crease tactic (e.g., Tip of Hair Strands, Cheekbone, Iliac Crest, etc.), of course, Vertex Crease is not immediately important here.
It's ok if we got just the original proposition; but I'm sure Blender development can realise Edge Data Visibility can be improved in various other ways. If the proposition would be the 'kick-start', it would already be great!
PS: Sorry, I can't test the Addon right now; but this is probably great news for the proposal.
Its a bandaid at best, what about creases? What about bevel weights? All of them are just attributes and what we need is a proper attribute visualization instead :P
It be a scaling issue for sure and will look like a 'Dr. Sues multi striped socks'. But probably the fastest overview feedback I've heard from countless times when I didn't realize something had auto created 'Sharpness' without my knowledge.
I was even thinking if we have like a lil notification dot on the tab buttons to state there's an attribute being used so we can glance without blindly making rounds to clicking and checking each one.
easy, give each dash its own respective attribute color.
