N-Panel editing of custom mesh attributes while in Edit Mode

Currently, the only way to make edits to custom attributes in edit mode is to use the command Mesh -> Set Attribute .

It would be extremely helpful to reveal this editable information amidst the N-Panel -> Item tab in a similar fashion to the way Vertex Data & Vertex Weights are accessible. Also, another good example that already exists is editing curve tilt on a control point from the N-Panel.

Ideally, the attributes shown would depend on the editing domain vs attribute domain state. When a vertex attribute exists while in vertex edit mode, the attribute shows below Vertex Weights in the N-Panel, etc.

A few have already tried to solve this with addons, but native functionality would be best!

Thanks for reading!

I agree, either N pannel (but i'm not sure it's the right place) or vertex pannel (like you can modifie wheight paint individually) and another location could also be the spread-sheet (but it is currently designed as a inspector and not an editor and i'm not shure they'll intend to make it an editor as it's purpose is to be fast and reliable and not per say integrate edits there as it may make things slower and not be the best workflow concept to use the spreadsheet of blender to edit, people may want to make a full excell software out of it, i don't think think it's the intent)
