precisely way to move 3d cursor

its hard to precisely move the 3d cursor on a certain axis , thats why i suggest the ability to move it using the g key instead of left clicking , this would be very helpful when trying to move it precisely on a certain axis so it stays in place instead of bouncing off to a random location , i would love to see this implemented in blender so us modelers can utilize its true power .

At least while moving it (Shift RMB), when clicking X/Y/Z it should move from it's original position, not from where you clicked.

This is a dream. The 3D cursor being a full gizmo would be the best. Let's say I want to straigthen multiple edge loops in a direction. I could aligh the 3D cursor perfectly and do the scale in the right direction.

I think using the G key would get confusing since that's the same shortcut we use to move objects, but it would be nice to have an actual "move 3d cursor" gizmo rather than having to place it on an object or use the XYZ fields in the n-panel.

Ehhh... the amount of new stuff that would have to be designed and coded and tested just doesn't seem worth it to me. Just use an Empty object and snap your cursor to it when you need it.
