Request: collactions autocollaps/ rigt click obj -> shown in Outliner / higlight only selected in viewport and vv
Hi! :)
-
Add to Outliner Filters menu: Autocollapse function - auto fully open hierarchy to selected object and closed at same time all unselected. Some sort like it works in Zbrush with submenus.

When you have a lot collections with a lot child-collections and objects in it. There is will be nice to have some sort of right click on selected object (in the 3D viewport) and choose - "show in Outliner" (without going to filter). It will works for only 1 selected thing/object. If selected couples and more - just don't show it in menu. It will help fast navigate to difficult hierarchy place without filtering.
2.b) Or another continue of upper idea - is provide ability to chose mode: when you will click any active object - it will show you his whole heararchy. And show only it with his all upper parent-folders. Like above but automatically by any select.
- I found that a bit confusing current light up(highlighting) approach in Outliner. I think more clear will be use next approach: when you choose any object(s): to light up them by blue stripe and the folder where it is in current moment to gray. And vice versa when you select anything object in Outliner - it will automatically shown as selected in viewport.
