Light Fallout, how far the light travels before dissapearing

A lot of render engines have the feature to control, how much a light or how far a light travel before it doesn't affect anything, it would be nice to have an slider to control that along the now in development "directional area lights" the possibilities are endless.

* @ Lsscpp * OwO Thanks It would be nice to see it embedded though, but I'm gonna use that little trick you showed me for evil! thanks mate!

* @luisf.carranza * No need to implement hundreds sliders for each light, when you can tune it with shadernodes as you wish. 4 example it is possible to make IES-like directed area-lamp. So no need to have it as separate type.

As a starting point, you could use light fallof in Cycles (nodes), and EEVEE has a distance value, but I don't remember if it there for all the lights.
