Mantaflow baking on GPU

I am working recently on multithreaded Neural Networks made from scratch and after making some tests multithreaded training on 32 core CPU is few hundred times slower than training it on GPU. The biggest problem was making it parallel on multiple cores but after doing it making it work on GPU was quite easy and fast, and the same thing goes with baking fluid simulations.

So my proposal is that because we already have multithreaded baking on CPU is there a plan to make it work on GPU? Or if not is there a possibility of it? Because it would save a lot of time.

Thanks for reading

Hello Michal, I'm 100% with you on the GPU thing- Have a look at 'Embergen' it's frighteningly fast at simulation! You can register and download the Alpha (windows only by the look of it) Cheers!
