Mesh Fusion for Blender

It would be awesome to develop an interactive sub-d boolean modifier that allows us to change the bevel width where the meshes intersect, just like Mesh-Fusion in Modo.

HardOps paid addon does that. It's like 20$ I think

* @daniellapalme * I have hard hops, mesh machine, box cutter and fluent, they don’t work with subd meshes unfortunately.

* @daniellapalme * No, HOps don;t do that. Hops uses internal blender bevel and booleans, but "only" improves UX.

mesh fusion/bob on the other hand produces different topology and enables different workflow

You should mention Maya: Hard-Mesh, 3DS Max: Smooth Boolean as well.

I would call this kind of modeling Soft Boolean. Its like a hybrid workflow of Polygon+CAD modeling its take advantage of both appraoch (Surface Deform, Edge Fillet) it basically a fillet command at the intersection of boolean object but you still have advantage of polygon modeling that it coud deform or modify easily.

Hope someone eventually come up with a solution for blender BAB is a good foundation but its need to be non-destrucitve.
