Key Promoter (hotkey suggestor)
Idea inspired by the Key Promoter X plugin for IntelliJ IDEs: plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/9792-key-promoter-x
I find the best way to learn new hotkeys is through active use and repetitive reminders. This feature would alert users to relevant hotkeys whenever they perform any hotkey'd Blender task via the mouse. Did the user click "Add" in object mode and add a plane? The box would say something like: "Did you know, the hotkey "shift+A" opens the add object menu automatically?" For improved functionality, users should also be able to permanently dismiss reminders about specific hotkeys, either in the alerts themselves or via a feature configuration panel. Ideally, this would not just suggest the factory default hotkey settings, but also reflect the user's defined hotkeys.
How complex would it be to write an addon that reads the user's hotkeys, as necessary for the second part of this feature?

This would be relatively easy to implement, however, all the hotkeys are written in menus and also in tooltips, which is much less intrusive for people who really want to start with shortcuts.
However, this reminded me of an addon I wanted to develop for a long time. An AI suggester of new hotkeys the user should assign because he uses certain actions often. Or, it could write a message box whenever he starts blender with some stats and suggestions for shortcuts of the most used actions that are already assigned. What do you think about that ;)
* @vilem.duha * Personally, I appreciate a little intrusion. Nothing like: "hey dummy, you're doing it the slow way again, [HERE] is the right way" to set you straight.
I'm in favor of any workflow optimization methods, and I like your suggestion regarding suggestions. Do you like any existing tools in this category for Blender?
* @vilem.duha * I like that idea.
I would love this
That would be great in my opinion!
oof.. feels like Clippy to me.
