Add reaction in Tool and Tool Settings after shortcuts is selected (focus on icons)
When we use mouse to take Tool then icon is focuesd and Tool Settings we se wich type of tool is used. When we selecting tools by keys like S-Scale, R-Rotate, G-Grab, then Tool icon is not focuesd and Tool Settings not showing the selected tool (working on Sculpting, but not on Layer/Modeling as Objet mode/Edit mode).

S, R, and G are used for quick shortcuts, and it's not expected that you will use them in the place of tools, which are for slower more visual transforms.
If you want to change your tool with a shortcut, you can press shift+spacebar and than the button you would expect.
* @zorro.weaver * I see.. the shift+spacebar. But don't understand why for Objet mode/Edit mode this not working in this same way like Sculpting. For me it's sense, without is disonanse.
* @ManBlender * That's because everything is a tool in sculpting. To make it easier for people who are using a wacom pad. Generally, you don't use a wacom pad in edit mode, so more shortcuts are needed. In sculpting, the tools function more like brushes. You won't press T to flatten, press 1 and enter like you would in edit mode. Sculpting is not based on selections. Instead, you press T to select the flatten tool, and use it to flatten where you want on your mesh.
* @zorro.weaver * This is still not clear. Tablets have point pen, and 2btns that can emulate RMM and MMM, the LMM is like touch. This can be configurated in blender. Not see relation betwen focus on Objet mode/Edit mode other than on Sculput mode and brushes tools. For me should exist reaction on tools after shrtcuts this same like after touch. I have 3 difrent primitive tablets, but not using for blender around 3d, just painting sometimes. I not recognized here difference around selecting tool by point pen or mouse and around shortcuts. The focus on tools is for see what is selected now as tool.
