Auto Retopology
IDK how this is achieved in Maya and currently it is more of a hidden feature but it seems like there is a tool inside that allows to generate a clean topology right after a boolean operation. Would it be possible to implement something like this to Blender?

3d coat is a good example.
I think that also a tool similar to ZRemesher would be really appreciated, since it allows more control on the topology.
Its new for Maya, but its not something that works great out of the box (seen in demonstration), the quality is about the same as instant Meshes, and yeah i think we need it inside blender as well, most people will do retopo at some point with blender.
Might be Instant Meshes integrated into maya. It's Open Source and Modo has it in the newest version as well. There even is a Blender integration available onGitHub: github.com/knekke/blender_addons
So basically it's already there but not in the default installer.
* @motionblur.of.doom * It doesn't covers hard Surface thou, the resulting topology is not working that well with subsurface workflows
* @datadieb * Maya's example didn't really convince mei either, TBH. Heck, even ZBrush is still kind of wonky in many cases and their algoriths are really good.

Oh.. here was some auto retopology suggestion.. Maybe i link this here too: cgchannel.com/2020/08/check-out-open-source-auto-retopology-tool-autoremesher/
looks more like Instant Meshes. And there is bridge for it in Blender.
