Geometry nodes mesh to curve
It be nice if it had an option to use the outer curve as a cyclic curve.
So you have some flat 2d mesh with all kind of triangles, but your only interested in the outer curve. ea to get a cyclic mesh result, usuable in other nodes to do profile etc.
Another idea that comes close to it is to have a cut plane, to slice a 2d out of a 3d object, with again the option to only use the outer shape

This is trivial to achieve with selection made with 2 nodes*, so it's quite unlikely that it would be implemented as a default feature.
I use this operation quite often, so I have made my own Group Asset for it.
Actually it's only one added node now, as there is Is Edge Boundary added to default groups :
Thanks for letting me know, i tried that node but somehow i must have had a big and it never solved, if i dough removed the inner edges, then recreated them knife tool it worked, though it did not work upon wat i started width
