Quick export assets option, or append assets option
A lot of times when working on projects i will create several node groups, materials, effects, objects, ect. that i would like to quickly save as assets. currently we can easily mark them as assets and move the whole file into our asset directory.
However most of the time I don't want to use the .blend i initially created the asset in as the master save location for the asset itself. Those files are filled with non asset material, and may require changes to the asset i don't want saved as the master. also having assets scattered around tons of different blend files makes finding and editing them much more disorganized.
What would be the ideal work flow for building an asset library on the fly is if you could very simply export all assets from the blend file they were developed in, out to a separate asset master file in your designated asset directory.
currently the only way top do this is to close the project file, open your asset master file in the your asset directory folder, then either append and manually search through the original file to find all the individual assets (since they aren't shown as assets in the append menu), or move the original file into the asset directory, find and drag all the assets in, manually make each local and then re-mark and save them as asset...
this whole process could be greatly simplified if there was the option to either export one project's asset library out to a separate chosen master file, or by being able to quickly append assets/the whole asset library of one file, into your master asset file.
