layer selection sets
I often solo a layer so that I can more easily select it's contents. I then have to remember which layers I want to re-enable. It would be good if you could store layer selections so that you can quickly re-enable multiple layers without having to remember what's in what.

It's an essential feature, indeed. I've mentioned it somewhere over at the forums and someone said that once the collections code is in a good place, it would be fairly easy to create an addon to handle layer states.
