Animation Tools
Hi Pablo,
what are the possibilities of these tools that have in Maya to enter the blender, they are very useful in animation.

This really isn't all that helpful of a proposal. It doesn't do anyone any good to point to another application (or plugin) and say "add this please." Specifically, what are the tools and features that you'd like to see in Blender? How would they work and look in Blender's interface and with Blender's workflow? These are the sort of things that make a proposal actionable by developers and allow other Blender users to understand what you're interested in having added.
blender already has a number of these. others of them would be useful to have added or have the process of doing them as simplified as they seem to be making it. others may be simply less useful because of how blender does some things.
that's a huge number of items to go through in order to determine what we have, what would be useful, and what simply doesn't apply.
as Jason van Gumster said, simply pointing to another application or plugin isn't really helpful. there are differences between programs (and how they do things) that make it less than a simple "i want that."
@Josh Strawbridge: I DO agree ,but someone that doesn't know any better (including me ) will always point to what already exists aka , another program . You can't express what doesn't exist without using anoalogies and examples :P
if this is bad ,a rule could be put where people have to be very specific and detailed with Mockups as a plus? trying to rephrase comparations into how it would be working in blender ?
Mockups are the best method as Expression gets lost in words because words can't express what a mind immagines..
*this would involve people making some more work to try to get a point across , it would be made more satisfying by giving someone more points if they have mockups?
@porkeehunporki6669999: i may have done the same thing when i first posted here myself. it's a live and learn kind of thing.
it's not so much that it's bad, i think, as much as it's simply far less helpful and puts much more work on the people who might actually implement these things.
they're probably busy enough as it is so simply pointing to something else is probably not going to get the ideas we like to them nearly as effectively as if we had taken the time to make mockups specifically about implementing the ideas into blender.
also, we may find that our initial thoughts of how to implement our ideas into blender are better off done a bit differently than we thought during that process of making the mockup.
@Josh Strawbridge: its true , but are we all programmers? we don't know how it would work in blender , most of us are artists, animators ecc , if blender is for artists it needs to get input that can't and doesn't know how to detail that.
like if this is the case this section should be separated in 2 , 1 for Suggestions by people that don't know nothin and are just throwing out ideas
and a second , that involves people that know a bit more and would be able to help the devs better in the implementation
the second section of the forum being mostly people that have good own ideas or that look at the first forum and think about how it would work in blender , making this a Peer To Peer type of analysis and having a quality control ecc
@porkeehunporki6669999: The primary purpose here is to make well thought-out, actionable proposals that developers can use as rough specifications for features that we want. A developer is going to have to do a substantial amount of work to bring any feature to life for us. The least we can do is put a similar amount of effort into our proposals.
You don't have to know how to program. You just have to know how Blender works and how you would like to change it. Create images or videos that show, "I want a button here. When I click it, it does this thing."
@porkeehunporki6669999: i'm not a programmer. i'm just a blender user. i think you may be overthinking things.
pick a useful thing in listed in the page that was linked. then open blender. where do YOU think the best place it would fit into blender is?
where would it not be useful to have it?
why might it be more useful one place rather than another?
these are all questions that YOU answer based on your user experience. nothing to do with coding at all. so in the end your proposal is a suggestion to improve things for artists because it's made from the perspective of an artist.
if the questions lead you to the dope sheet then you open up the dope sheet and take a screenshot
if it's the f-curve window then you open up the f-curve window and take a screenshot
if it's the tool shelf or property shelf in 3d view while you're in pose mode then you open up the 3d view like that and take a screenshot.
edit what you want added into the screenshot, add some text to point it out on the edited screenshot and post that along with what you type here in your proposal to explain what it is why it would be useful.
if you go through all that and then someone here tells you that we can already do that or something very close to it then you've learned something useful... maybe multiple alternatives to what you were suggesting even.
that's not likely to happen for this particular suggestion because there's just so many different things on the linked page and not everyone is even going to bother to look through it.
my recent suggestion kind of ended up that way. the only advantage it offered over what we already had access to was simply being able to do it with some control rather than it being fully automated.
@Josh Strawbridge: @Jason van Gumster: good point !
i don't understand the proposal many of those tools are already in blender
