It would be great to have al List view in asset browser.
Actualy there is a tile view in Asset browser, like in File browser more different views espacialy a list view might be nice.

A list view would also not have to load all thumbnails and would therefore be faster to show all assets.
...and maybe even a tooltip of the full name in tiled View. For example, we have a lot of metal materials all starting with the same name base. Most of the names are cut off and can`t be distinnguished from one to another.
