snap to origin
useful for snapping a bone's tail to the origin of the object the mouse is currently over. Removes a lot of manual work involving setting the 3d cursor position so that that can be snapped to.

I have just discovered that we have already a topic about snap to origin. Here is my issue with origin snap. I'd like to move an object along an axis, till I would be able to hit an Origin of another object flying somewhere around.
Came here with the exact same use-case.
Most of the snapping is a shortcut for something that can technically also be done by moving the cursor and then the selection.
so having a origin snap as a shortcut for the usual
cursor to origin, -> selection to cursorseems just as appropriate.blender.community/c/rightclickselect/gp36/
