Simplyfing RENDER REGION with a single KEYSTROKE
How possible is it to create a (single stroke key) that can do render region on cycles and then with the same or another single keypress, remove it from the screen? Because right now it is a long arm like: preview a render region: Press Ctrl+B, Drag box, then Shift+Z. (Renders). Then shift+Z, then Alt+Ctrl+B. Saw that? Writing an essay about Shakespeare is shorter than this workflow. Render region a la MODO or Softimage (even C4D has it). Please make this possible. Thanks.

You've successfully described why the current workflow doesn't suit you. However, you've not offered a specific solution that exactly describes a workflow that you would find more suitable. Would this be a hotkey thing, or a button? Where would that button be? What would it say?
@Jason van Gumster: The title clearly states "SINGLE KEYSTROKE". Press (example: ALT+Q) draw render region, and then automatically render the dragged squared box. ALT+Q again, and it will dissappear. C´mon, we all know we can run all those commands through .py. So how is this not offering a solution? // Why you ask about a panel button? did it had it before? no. Cryptic things you can only find on forums... Again, let´s focus back in the original post. Thanks.
@3dcinetv: I've suggested that you be specific. And the workflow you've described is more than a single keystroke. It's a hotkey (<kbd>Alt</kbd>+<kbd>Q</kbd>) and mouse movement.
And that's fine. I like this idea... though the hotkey doesn't quite fit in with anything else associated with rendering. This site is for proposals. It's best to make them as complete and thorough as possible. That makes them more actionable for developers.
