Driver Nodes!

Add or change the current "Edit Driver" panel to a node-based editor (in line with the "everything nodes" idea). You could include a new editor type called "Driver Nodes," where all drivers in the scene are handled, or you could have a separate node tree for each individual driver (similar to geometry nodes), although this would require an overview panel. I prefer the all-in-one node tree approach because it would make it even simpler to connect drivers. You could have all the driver inputs be the inputs of the "group input" node and all the outputs be part of the "group output" node. By default, they would all be connected to their counterparts, so "Driver 1 Input" to "Driver 1 Output" and so on. Then you could add Math Nodes and Boolean Math Nodes and more to make more complicated setups. And the ability to have two driver inputs affect one output variable would be easy this way. Also, support for Node Groups could make reusing/sharing the same drivers really great. It could also prove to be less intimidating for beginners.

this is anticipated to be part of the animation rework and rigging nodes.
