You know you can select multiple items with ctrl-click?
It could be an option like windows explorer does. Normaly You select multiple via modifer keys, but you can enable checkboxes and select multiple items only with mouse.
Indeed, this could do with some love as well. Dealing with the folders is ok but not ideal. Cheers

Hello. Yes with Ctrl+Shift click works just fine. :) But sometimes I use filter/search option and if I forget to clear the filter/search bar it does not append all objects (only visible ones) altough I have selected them previously. Maybe is a 'bug'?
Whats the Problem with ctrl+Click or Shift+Click???
* @Fynndus * I think it is that's not cursor-only like. i.e. could have an impact on mobiles, pen-monitors, touches...
or better, IMO, an option to show or hide check-boxes where the default is hide/unchecked
