Cursor Improment(Transform Orientation)
Every time I want to use transform orientation generate from face or edge I have to create it first, it's not a convient way. I think cursors can carry this function, now the cursor is one of the transform orientations, but I don't see anyway I can accurately rotate cursor. Here is my suggestion of how to improve it.
So I suggest the cursor can automatically snap to the surface and the z axis has the same direction as the normal of the face it absorbed when I hold shift RMB and drag. When I hold shift and RMB, each time I click RMB the direction of the y axis of cursor aligns with the next edge of the face. Moreover, there can be some gizmo I can call out, and use it to let a axis point to any thing that can be snaped to. for example I can drag the y axis of the cursor and hold ctrl to snap to a point, then the y axis will on the line between the point and cursor. By the way, the non-rectangular coordinate system should also be considered. All these things can be integrated into cursor.
In this way, user can easily get any transform orientation. And don't need to create transform orientation from selection each time.
This idea came from DM, which is a package of houdini I tried last week. It's compass looks like cursor in blender, but it's more powerful.
