Step Keys Button

"Stepped-Animation" is a technique frequently used in forms of animation such as Stop-Motion and Traditional 2D. It essentially involves exposing each drawing or photo for at least two frames instead of one. You may also know this technique referred to as animating "On two's". I imagine this feature would primarily be used in Grease Pencil animation, and it would automatically space out all selected keys/drawings so that they'd each be exposed for however may frames the user designates. Perhaps this feature could be in the context menu, as shown below.

EDIT: I'm not suggesting the removal of the "keyframe types" button. It was simply easier in my mockup to erase that feature than to extend the list.

Technically speaking, if you want to have the look of animating on twos, you're best off simply dropping your framerate to 12 fps.

However, to entertain this kind of feature, you're best off calling it "strobed interpolation", as stepped interpolation is a bit of a confusing term since that's what most people think of constant interpolation as being. Furthermore, you'd need to have an additional control where the user can control the strobe distance (for animating on 2s, 3s, or whatever). Where in the interface would you put that control?

Do you mean something like: and this:

And I know the GP interpolation option isn't the best, they actually need you to have the same stroke edited to work properly and, as far as I know, doesn't give you the hability to change the intervals.

* @samuel.santos * The Stepped Interpolation modifier affects the interpolation of keyframes, what I'm referring to affects the spacing of keyframes

its called constant keys in blender, if you go on your graph editor select keys and press T youll get a menu, for interpolation and you choose constant, and if you go to the preferences you can set it as a default too.

* @Luciano A. Muñoz Sessarego * That kind of works, but only on keyframes. Grease Pencil doesn't have actual interpolation unless you keyframe the transformation of the grease pencil object itself.
