Simplify is on. Simplify is off.
Hello. Quick suggecstion.
As many do, I usually play activating and deactivating simplify, to enable/disable all the subdivisions, in all the models in the scene at once, to see more or less detail in exchange to more or less viewport performance.
I actually enable it and disable it with a shortcut.
What I've discovered is that sometimes, and in some contexts, to discover if simplify is enabled or disabled, is difficult. I last some seconds looking the micro-details in my model, to discover if the model is with or without the subdivisions, sometimes. And when that happens, for some seconds, I really can't be sure quickcly if what I am looking at, is looking the way is supposed to. This makes me to last much more than I would desire, while I seek for specific areas on my models, where subdivisions are more evident.
And this makes me to spend way too much time, discovering if I am enabling it or disabling it when pressing the shortcut. And going to the 'rendering' panel to see if the checkbox is checked or not, also takes time.
Can please, be added a message in the 3d viewport?
Simplify: On. Simplify: Off.
To declare when is being activated or deactivated. Also, the message would dissapear in 2 seconds.
You know. Could be one of these small details that improves usability a lot.
