Quick Keyframe mode selection + quick add keyframe button
Hi all , what would you think about adding few buttons next to the time navigation ones : to let user quickly select the keyframe recording mode ( so Loc +/or Rot +/or Scale +/or Parameters ( +/or what something I'd miss ? ) . Currently , if I'm not wrong , user have to go in the keying menu then clic in the 'autokeying set' field and then choose among 10 presets ...pretty long workflow no ? So for quick Loc or Loc+Rot or Rot modes ( which are the main ones used I guess ( at least from my experience ) ) having the 3 modes ( loc / rot /scale ) directly in the interface just near an Insert key button , would be helpfull to speed up workflow . (I think it's something used in almost every 3D software if I'm not wrong ). Thanks for reading , hope you'll like this idea .

Sounds to me like you need an add-on that provides buttons that are bound to commonly used keying sets.

* @clement * Wouldn't be difficult to write what you're asking for as an add-on. Might be interesting to make those "quick keying set" buttons dynamically assignable.
