Mantaflow / fluids follow spline

Might it be a small idea, to have besides the standard inflow objects Also a follow spline. Follow it till the end and then spread as in a normal inflow object.

Why?, to more easily create garden hose alike effects. It might not be 100% physically correct but rather be artistically easier to handle.

Also some other nice effects might be done then, ea let it follow a handwritten text.
