More focus on modeling and general asset creation?
Considering that modeling is the most common way of creating 3D models today I feel it deserves more attention than 2-3 features per major release like it has been looking in the past year or so.

Just a friendly reminder that this is a place for proposals, not "Blender doesn't have enough features, please add some". That doesn't help anyone resolve the perceived issue.
Any missing modeling features you would like to propose in detail are very welcome here. Outlining how they could realistically work in the current version of Blender would go one step closer to adding the feature in the master branch, and in turn more modeling features revealed in the next release.

Besides, Blender is a generalist tool, not a modeling tool. And features come as they can when they are ready and depend a lot on the devs' capacities at a given time. It makes no sense to think of it like "there must be X new feature per Y amount of time", that's simply not how software development works.
* @-L0Lock- * I think my point is still quite valid. Modeling is used everywhere in 3D. Blender has a lot of room for improvement in the area, just look at Modo or Houdini. Blender cant even bake materials properly or make sharp corners in an effective way (see Angle tool on Blender market, this feels like a too basic function to rely on an addon) as it stands. In the past year there havent really changed that much in the modeling space. Hopefully the everything nodes modeling node tree will get far but other than that its just some small tools left and right that has been added or improved, no major changes.

* @Willy Wonka * No matter how valid your point is it's not helpful. We all know that Blender lacks in certain areas. Others here have already explained why your post is not suitable. Put the effort in to create a proposal. I have outlined clearly what that is above.
would be nice rework more modeling tools hidden in context menus, add gizmo, move them in to tool bar... Most of them works in old approach.
