Sample Screen Space over the screen edge EEVEE

We have the option to fade the reflection edges, but it would be great for EEVEE to sample the reflection like 20% over the edge off screen (screen space) and then composite it to the image. This would eliminate the edge fading issue. This would mean that Screen space reflections would need to be rendered at a wider camera angle / resolution, but it would be worth it cause anyway EEVEE is a deferred renderer. The same goes with screen space GI.
