Sharper corners for stabilized strokes
Problem
Currently, while drawing a stabilized stroke, corners that should be sharp get blunted. It should be possible to have sharp corners while drawing with stabilization active.
Example: youtu.be/58gBoi2qEZc
Watch the corner of the stroke closely. After the change in stylus direction the part of the stroke before the corner changes shape giving a mushy blunted corner as a result.
Proposal
When i look at the vertexes it seems like there isn't a vertex right at the point where the stroke changes direction (the corner), and the corner would be sharper if there was one. Would it fix the problem if blender checked the velocity of the stabilized drawing location and added a vertex (at the current stabilization modulated position) anytime that velocity changed from positive to zero?
