Design Connected Connector style asset browser. It’s incredible for quickly browsing models, materials, textures and then dragging them into the scene.
Could be used to organise local assets, but also for accessing a community repository. With blender it could also have a category for add-ons.

I just spoke to design connected via facebook messenger on their facebook page. Apparently it already supports Blender files! They just need some help from one of the blender programmers to add the drag and drop functionality.

Hi Michael,
Connecter supports Blender files - you can organize a library, attach custom previews and so on. I guess that you are asking about integration that will allow you drag and drop models in Blender and access advanced features. If that's the case - we have plans, but not for the near future.
Maybe someone from the Blender's community can create such integration and work with us on its integration.
