i already see this kind of proposal, i am pretty sure this is one duplicate

Agreed. But until then, here is a workaround. Click drag down on both the X and Y fields then drag sideways to change them both at the same time.
Or if you want to cut the resolution in half you can do the math inside the field to divide each value by 2.
