i recommend to change the select box to select mode as default in the node shader so that when you activate the node wrangler the user wont be puzzled to understand why the addon is not working.

Or, wait for node wrangler to be updated in order to work with the new active tool system.
@-L0Lock-: I think the addon works fine, you just have to change the selection tool from box to regular. The Blender default is at fault here
