Strand thickness in viewport

I constantly run in to an issue, when i add hair in my viewport i usually need to add a big amount of children hair only because there is no way to make hairs thicker in viewport... My proposal is for a new strand (width value) that could change the thickness of the strands for the viewport without adding more hairs to the viewport using (px) units .As you can see setting strand width value to 2 would make strands two times thicker and obviously you could use higher values also...
