VSE: No current video strip ALWAYS switches to scene camera, even if other VSE areas are populated
Currently in Blender, if no video strips are present in the VSE, it basically functions as an audio editor, with video coming from the scene camera. This is good. However, if I want to momentarily show a video strip and then switch back to the scene camera, I cannot. Once a video strip is in the VSE, a non video strip area will default to black transparent.
I suggest that basically the VSE behave as if the current scene were an unmovable strip in channel 0. That is, even if there is a video strip somewhere in the VSE, once the time cursor is outside of that strip, it will render from the scene camera again.
This hopefully would bring back the benefits of being able to add a scene to its own VSE, but without the mind-boggling side effects of time mismatching.

Ouch. Poor presentation buried this. I edited it, but it seems like it was too late. Oh well..
