Exclude Unselectable from Depth Picking

Proposal to exclude depth picking navigation from interacting with objects in an unselectable state. If an object/collection is not interactable/selectable, then exclude depth picking from also interacting with those objects/collections.

In large scenes, it can be difficult to navigate when depth picking is interacting with undesirable objects in the background.

It also makes it difficult to navigate in scenes that have a fog volumes, where it is undesirable for depth picking to interact with the fog volume.

There are many other cases where it would just make depth navigation alot more enjoyable to use, for those who do not enjoy using the "navigate around selected objects" option.

Hi, I also felt that sometimes. Still I would want to preserve the snapping ability on the locked objects as I think it's linked to depth selection.

That would definitely make sense

Do you also have GPU Depth Picking enabled in your Viewport prefs?

I experience no issues like the one you are describing.
